
Monroe County Community College, founded in 1964, is a public, comprehensive community college serving the residents of Monroe County and the surrounding areas of southeastern Michigan and northwestern Ohio. Over 4,600 students attend the main campus and Whitman Center pursuing a variety of associate degrees, career/occupational certificates, university parallel/pre-professional, and employee training/retraining programs. While an additional 5,000 students attend non-credit classes and certificate programs.
